born and raised in Broadway NC, started banjo at 15, I picked that thang every spare min. I had .played in a band in Murphy NC the bluegrass volunteers for about 3 yrs. enlisted in USAF after graduation and was stationed at Craig AFB in AL. married and stayed in AL. started the next band PEA RIDGE in Selma this was a good tight band ,still miss that group. played for Hwy 280 out of the lake Martin aera,played with the Auburn bluegra band and now a member of Fibergrass out of Montgomery AL. email if interested in picking, local jams
