Been working as professional musician in the New York area since 1973, doing mostly live performance and studio work. Had to branch out and learn to play all kinds of commercial music, and all the stringed instruments, but my lifelong favorite music remains traditional Bluegrass. Some past gigs include a 3 year touring stint on lead guitar with Bill Haley & His Comets; 6 guest appearances on the Early Bird Bluegrass Concert on the Grand Ole Opry playing Dobro with Uncle Steve Crockett & His Log Cabin Boys; four MTV commercial soundtracks in the mid 90's; and numerous guest appearances on Dobro with Rhonda Vincent over the years. Presently appearing in Atlantic City at Bally's Wild, Wild West Casino with my own band "Blue Smoke" and on live radio on the WDVR "Heartlands Hayride" as well as playing Dobro with the Beth Coleman Band on her live concert dates. I was one of 3 Banjo players used in the Sesame Street Workshop DVD "Kids' Favorite Country Songs", though only John McEuen was credited, and had appeared on camera.
