I've been playing the guitar since 1961. I'm a singer / songwriter with my acoustics and a very good instrumentalist on my electrics. I also play keyboards / synthesizers. I used to also play bass and drums but had to let those slide to make room for my ever expanding collection of guitars.

Age 4 Writing songs on keyboard. Age 5 1/2 Switch main instrument to guitar. Age 13 Eagle Scout. Age 14 music teacher. Age 15 Playing / singing locally. Age 18 Joined the Navy for 4 years as a hospital Corpsman. Age 19 Married my high school sweetheart Debi. Age 22 Hired in at St. Louis County Water. We have 3 children and 11 grandchildren. A pair of Australian Shepherds and two shelter cats are our current at home family. For maybe 10 years I did print reviews of guitars, amps, effect pedals,, speakers and cabs, etc. I've amassed quite a collection of boutique guitars and amplifiers. Currently I continue to write new songs, have been married for going on 48 years, have worked at the same company for going on 45 years and within the past few weeks finally got Debi to agree to letting me buy a banjo.
