Born in Washington D.C . , raised in Southern California. Ditched all of my rock records after being bitten by the bluegrass bug while working at Knott's Berry Farm. began playing banjo in college , ( USC ?). Moved to Northern Calif. in ? . Put my banjo down for about 20 yrs. while raising kids and running my own business. Picked it up again about 20 yrs. ago now retired and playing in a local bluegrass band.
