50 yr old male from Oz jast started playin g-tar 1 year ago & practice 4 hrs minimum a day so am getting reasonable, I love picking on the g-tar & figured the banjo might be something id enjoy. I figured as im POOR id build 1 as i have almost finished an archtop g-tar. (First time ive ever done anything with wood & it is turning out GR8) This was not necessary as my family bought me anentry level banjo (Washburn B-9 $500AUD approx) 4 my 50th so now ive had it 4 a week & a day & can play a fair rendition of Scruggs' Jed Clampet Ballard but this is basically on open strings & i have no chord fingering happening yet, but have a learn to book on the way (30 year old banjo book cool) C ya's
