Not too many pop bands of today, to be honest. As Pete Seeger said, "Once I heard their [country] music, I learned that there was a lot of good music in this country that was not played on the radio".

Intermediate Banjo player currently in late high-school. I enjoy learning how to play the banjo, along with being out in nature. In addition to this, I hope to become a forester/forest-ecologist at some point (as well as maybe a lawyer, since law interests me). Currently living in the beautiful farmland and forests of Pennsylvania, the state that, as Kipling described, "They are there, there, there with Earth immortal. Citizens, I give you friendly warning. The things that truly last when men and times have passed, They are all in Pennsylvania this morning!" I rather enjoy up picking (seeger style) and clawhammer a lot, along with 2 finger. However, I also like to pick some pieces with three fingers as well. I just go with what sounds good! If anyone in the SE PA, Northern DE, Northeast Maryland areas want to join up and jam a bit, please feel free to contact me!
