I have played for many years and started collecting Gibson banjos. Over time have become interested in neck building and finishing. As a young man I was an automotive parts rebuilder, and I developed a good eye for finishing. About 2005, built a replica to a 1929 style 3 I own, the project turned out very well. I have received much great advice from Bill Sullivan, Bill Hayes, and Bill Bonzinga Since then I have been buying and restoring Gibson banjos.
