Wayne Haley , former banjo player for the Crooked Creek band,1975-87 in and around Christiansburg, Va. 5 open heart surgerys from 1981-1993, .suffered two strokes in 1988, lost fine motor skills in left side, by the grace of God after 23yrs.I am starting to pick again! I am so thankful for being able to play and talk about the five again.I will gladly talk with anyone about my experiances and how GOD brought me through them. I would like to thank TimMills for his friendship and knowledge of the five that he has shared and obtained through the years since I first taught him a few licks long long, ago.And for Jason Wheeler, and Jacob Wright young pickers here on the hangout , who are gonna be a real standouts one of these days for their support .
