Getting back into playing after nearly a year will require a slow start. I'm okay with that. I found that my fingers still remember some of the moves. I need to become a little more dedicated and just keep picking. The new job was an uplift for me. The old place was getting way too weird, requiring me to go out of town quite often and to be on-call all the time. Every waking hour had me working my tail off because the place would not take on more workers to do the growing amount of work. I stopped playing last February because of this. I started looking for a new job and said that when I get the new job, I will pick. Now, I will pick. (I give God credit for the answer to prayer.)
I may be the only one who became discouraged in this kind of situation. Let's be encouraged. Pick.
