MANN 5-String Banjo

I just bought a MANN 5-string Banjo, but have no idea of the model number or where to find a serial number to help with identity. The guy I bought it from got it used 7 years ago, but isn't sure how old it was at that time. I found a label "Made in Korea", so I guess it is Post 1995.

The banjo was re-skinned, and my search included removing the resonator, but could not see any sign of a serial number. Any idea where to look?

It also needs new strings, I was thinking of using Medium loop-end strings, any recommendations?
