NYC-born, some Boston, then NorCal >40 years now. Got serious about guitar playing in my 50's. I work on fingerstyle on my Martin custom 000-14 fret deep body, and I'm taking Bluegrass classes and starting to jam a little bluegrass and oldtime with my Martin dread, using a flatpick more than I have before. UMGF member since 2006, and attendee with my wife of the annual UMGF festival in Nazareth since then.
