Love anything by Doc Watson (1st guitar song I was actually proud of being able to play was his Deep River Blues), Scruggs, that whole generation.
Also classical guitar: Francisco Tarrega-his etudes, Capricio Arabe.

I have played folk and classical guitar for decades. Started on the banjo as a Christmas gift from my wife awhile back, and most recently getting into the dulcimer. I especially love reinterpreting genres and artistic forms. I'm a teacher with over decades in middle- and high school Civics and Lang Arts. Married since 1983, one son and 2 grandsons so far. All musicians.
