Well I am at an important step with my banjo. I have the pot all ready to go and the neck has been cut out, shaped , rough sanded, fretboard and truss rod installed, tuner head shaped and holes drilled for the tuners and am starting to cut the heal to pot angle. I have the heal shaped to fit the pot with a slight angle and am getting ready to anchor it to the pot. My question is when measuring the angle from the top of the fretboard to where the bridge sits do the frets need to be installed. I have reviewed the information on-line and it appears the frets need to be installed before setting the final angle of the neck. I was planning on finishing the fretboard once I got done messing with the angle and attaching it to the pot. I know this is probably a stupid question but I have been working on this for some time and don't want to mess it up.
