It's been quite some time since I last felt inclined to leave some profound "words of wisdom" on this blog - so here goes;
I had mixed feelings about the new "protection" requirements for uploaded MP-3's - after all, we do want them to be heard - with or without compensation, don't we, else why post them on a public forum ?
I guess it's just another sign of old-age setting in - on me, that is - this resistance to any form of restriction of artistic expression.
Judging from the lack of "listens" to my few tunes , there doesn't seem to be any danger of pirates or boot-leggers getting rich off my feeble efforts!
Well, that's my soap-box sermon for this month!

Retired Broadcast Engineer with a life-long interest in Country, Western, and Bluegrass music. Learned to play guitar as a kid by listening to 78 RPM records of Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, and Les Paul. After "retirement" I've had time to try learning to play the banjo.
