I have had many jobs over the course of my working history..some that pertain to instruments and repair..as a teen I worked as a clerk in a music store...as a young man I worked in another music store where I was trained to tune pianos...as a slightly older young man I apprenticed with a European schooled antique refinisher/restorer...worked teaching after hour courses in refinishing...also worked for many years for various cabinet makers here doing staining and finishing...life happened..wife, kid etc so I decided to get a job in a rail car plant here where I applied for..got..and completed an apprenticeship in tooling..there was a rather long hiatus from playing..my interests led me in other directions..i used to retail parts and rebuild british motorcycles as a sideline..in my retirement I picked up my banjo again..my main instrument is a goldtone ob-250..my other instrument is a mid 60's rb-100..(the rat banjo)..which I am in the process of redoing again due to problems with a shellac I used..and here I am
