A pre-boomer, went through my yipee, dippy hippie phase back in the sixties until Uncle Sam snabbergrabbed me for a couple of years. Got married, had two kids, divorced, a proud father and grandfather. I got my first banjo when in high-school, got to page 18 of the Pete Seeger manual and came to an impasse for a couple of decades.....slowly attempting to progress now. I've worked diligently at developing a lot of bad playing habits over the years that I am finding out are quite difficult to break.......they have become so well ingrained that I am on the verge of adopting them as my "style".
