Sorry to bother anyone out here but I am in a situation I need professional help with and not meaning a psychiatrist. My grandfather died back in 76 and before he died he had taken his banjo apart. When I finally got my hands on it it was missing the skin hoop and the tension ring. I know it is a George Washburn drum from around 1900. It measures out to be 10 and 5/8ths of an inch in diameter. Can anyone tell me what size of hoops this is needing? Liking to be just one good evening to getting this thing playing again.
