Ciamara tha sibh, as we (sometimes) say, here in the highlands of Scotland.
How are you? I'm an elderly enthusiast,whose association with banjos and fretted instruments goes back to 1953, when my mother bought me a John Gray banjo for a pound. Now in my middle 70s I'm spending my retiring years repairing and in fact building guitars and banjoes with varying degrees of success!
Over the next few weeks I will try and illustrate verbally some of my successes and failures so I look forward to dropping you a line from time to time from the frozen North.
