I bought a cheap Alabama Banjo with a loose neck from a pawn shop and taught myself to play Claw Hammer style. I'm completely in love with the instrument and it's never far from me. Playing makes me happy like no other stringed instrument has. I still have my Alabama Slammer but recently bought a Washburn with a goat skin head and we are getting to know one and other.
