Former athlete and college baseball player @ Kansas State. Grew up on southern Indiana (Aurora). Graduated from Indiana University degree in physical education. Sold real estate from 1978 to 1984 then Moved to Colorado in 1984 then became an appraiser. Moved to Alabama in 2010. I have played piano most of my life, since I could see over the keys, picked up a harmony banjo in 1972, a Gibson mastertone in 76 (not pre-war), a deering boston in 2005, and currently am playing about a $300 Fender. My playing has been very sporadic over the years. I feel like each instrument has helped make me better on all the others, but would not say I am a good banjo player, as I am self-taught. I would like to get better and love a good banjo sound, especially if tts by a good player. I want to play for the lord!
