Well, I'm new at all this. No experience with blogs, computers, or music. Pretty sad.
Just recvd my first insturment, Deering Midnight Special.,liking what I see and how it sounds.
Since Im starting all this probably 50 yrs late its gonna take a spell. I find myself drawn to
thumb lead, but looks like Im gonna have to move to the eastern hills fore I find anything about it.
I see practice stuff for clawhammer and bluegrass to the max. Dont find much on thumb lead. Practice
notes, or really where to beginn. Just kinda floundering at the moment.
does anyone know of someone int the socal area to talk to or with about this style?
