I am a tinker-builder. have hand carved several violins, built a few banjos four guitars from old unused Gibson parts. I also build flintlock longrifles like the ones that my 5x grandfather made in 1795. have my own forge and make most of the parts. I pick banjo using a crazy two finger style. love to pick the melody not using roll. took lessons from rual Yarbrough a in the seventies. he was a good friend and banjo guru.
