I'm a blues and ragtime guitar player of 8 years who just could not resist the intoxicating sound of the banjo. I feel the same way about the sound of a banjo as I did when I first heard Big Bill Broonzy and Mississippi John Hurt. I want to learn everything I can about old time banjo, the tunes, the tones and the joy that it brings. Also very interested in learning the building process.
