I've been playing guitar for over 35 years, started the banjo back around 1990 and the mandolin in 2005. I enjoy them all, just wish I had more time to devote to music. The banjo playing seems to come in spurts, then I reach a plateau and go back to guitar or mandolin. Recently I modified the tone ring to rim fit on my Goldstar and I'm once again addicted, the banjo has never sounded better, and I'm learning again. Just purchased the Deering.
