I am 50 years old and started taking banjo lessons from my Dad, Sonny Guthrie, about 3 years ago. He is fairly well know in these parts for his banjo pickin. He played the radio circuit in Wheeling , WV before I was born and played with Toby Stroud and others during that time. He has a wealth of education in bluegrass! My brother is a great banjo picker too.(he started at 9 yoa ) He is now 46 yoa and teaches locally to some youngsters who have the bug. I am a late bloomer but catching up fast!
