My dad lost his dear friend Calvin this past week. Calvin is the tall guy on the left in the back of the photo. Dad is the only one left from this band of days gone by. His old pickin buddies are fading fast. The Calvin's family asked Dad to play at the funeral. It was a very difficult day for Dad. Calvin passed his talent and love for bluegrass to his sons and grandsons. What a legacy! May God be with the family at this time. We love you Calvin!

It's hard, but for everything there's a season. These things make me appreciate life all the more.
