I decided to play the banjo because I would always focus on it when I listen to music. I love the way it sounds. I love to play it and just want to get better. NOW! I started playing as a Christmas gift to myself, in 2004. I am happiest when I am in the mountains - I love the desert too. To be outside in the sun whatever I am doing - hiking, listening to music, playing music, gardening, playing with my kids, swimming in a lake, running a river. That's what it's about. I am not a religous person but very spiritual. I believe in myself and know what I want. I love my family. My three boys are the cutest sweetest guys around. They love to hear me play my banjo and ask me to play for them while they are in the tub or going to sleep. Well, except my teenager. He doesnt like my banjo music much. But that's okay -- he gets to hear it anyway.
