I have an old Ome open back. At least the neck is an Ome neck. The pot is from Stewart-MacDonald. Anyway, it's pretty and simple and has a nice sound.
I also have mini five string banjo put together by Andy F. It's an got an old rim and a neck that he made from scratch. It is really really cute, and also plays well.

I learned from a fantastic old-time banjo player. I have a blast jamming, busking, and telling bad banjo jokes... I haven't really done much in the way of teaching, but the world can always use more banjo players, so I imagine I will do my part in passing it on sooner or later.
