Began learning 1985 after hearing Hamilton County Bluegrass Band(NZ) and then "The Flying Emus". Currently(and for many years) play for Karen Lynne and Acoustic Shock. 12 month stint in 1997 with Kym Warner and Carol Young(They are now in the US and perform as "The Greencards"-Grammy nominees). Highly successful UK and European band tour 2005. 3 times Australian National Banjo Champion 1989,1992,2008. I am amazed at all the great players and luthiers we have here in Australia,..ah the tyranny of distance!! I teach in the Upper Blue Mountains at Wentworth Falls just west of Sydney.
