I recently thought I might start a little work with the local luthier to get down some of the cost of repairing my tenor but instead started an internship with Mr. B's Bottleneck Guitar Slides and Sustainable Glassware. It's been the most fun experience and I get paid in beer while I'm skilling up on the creation of some beautiful art. If any of you are familiar with slides its a small market, but a ton of big musicians use these slides to make such pretty sounds. I've been working with the glasses, which is a new part of the business.
He's also excited about me getting my Banjo fixed and up to the shop so we can pluck along together. He might even show me how to use these slides. They're made from recycled wine and liquor bottles. This means we are Green and Arty.
