It is now done. I finished about an hour ago and have played since. At first I was not sure about the results, mostly because my windings looked nothing like Arthur's when I was done. Looked a little messy for my first time. It took me a little bit to get it tuned in and at first and I thought it sounded different. After some pickin and a chance to settle down, I think I am good to go. Thanks all for the confidence and feed back. You are all great people and I am glad I get the chance to visit with ya's.

47 year old man heading to the other side of the hill. Have wanted to learn the Banjo for 15 years and family bought me one for Christmas. I have been married for 28 year and have two wonderful children, a grandson and a granddaughter. I do not intend to let them down as I learn how to play and when I leave this world, they can keep the banjo's to remember grandpa.
