Semi-pro bass player in blues and rock bands for the past 30 years. Recently got interested in "old timey music" and banjo thanks to the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou". Big fan of AKUS, Bela Fleck, and EARL. Looking for someone in the Redding, CA area to give me lessons or playing tips and people to jam with in the bluegrass or newgrass genres.
