Gibson ,Deering There's a man in the area making fretless open backs and I would love to have one .Bill Lawson is his name ..That thing was sweet .Banjo poor as I am I'll have to wait .

I like all kinds .Right now I like avett brothers ,steeldrivers ,earl brothers ,old crow medicine show ......and recently a little band called floorbirds ...I love levon helms new dirt farmer ..and as always I love benton flippen ...

I grew up in Sparta ,TN and have lived all over the south and recently moved back to my hometown after being gone for 20 years .I love this area .It's good to be home . I started playing banjo 10 years ago when I lived outside Chattanooga .I took lessons from ed brown .at this time I am out of practice and wanted to get back in .I have been playing guitar and singing and let the banjo playing slip somewhat .
