I have played guitar for 30 some years... playing chords and finger picking a-la Peter Paul and Mary. I started learning banjo in Sept 2004. A few friends come over every couple of weeks for a jam. Banjo, guitar, mando and fiddle and ukulele. We all have a lot of fun. When my daughters visit, we always have a "hootenanny". I usually play guitar, sometimes banjo, my wife plays piano, one daughter can play fiddle the other plays flute. We sing old Beatles songs, old Peter-Paul&Mary songs, traditional, rock and roll, gospel, folk... a little of everything.
