I have been playing banjo on and off for a couple of years and recently I have developed trigger finger, which actually doesn't happen that often.
But I kind agitate it when I play the banjo. It's the ring finger and I think it may be related to the drum lean finger and or nerve irritation in the forearm from
the steel plate that you rest the forearm on. Am I alone in this? The finger gets kind of arthritic. I don't want to give it up (banjo) but I am not going for surgury.
Any thoughts?
