Playing since 1955, currently with Hard Tack and Sow Belly. Earliest influences were Pete Seeger and the Kingston Trio. Heard Hank Schwartz in a coffee house in Baltimore in the 60's. He kindly showed me the error of my ways, and I've been a clawhammer player since. Played with The Colony Singers during the 60's folk boom, picked a lot with the Wash. DC fiddler, Paul "Blackie" Morgan, then for 20 years with the Free State String Band in Europe. Now with The Hard Tack and Sow Belly String Band in Virginia. I also play Celtic Music with Moch Pryderi, a Welsh and Breton Band. http://www.mochpryderi.com
