After retiring from my day job at Canada Post, where I worked for 30 years, I figured I needed a new banjo (as if I needed an excuse). I asked Mike Chew (Dogwood Banjos) to make me one. I was also ready for a retirement adventure, so I decided to take a road trip, combining a visit to my buddies in Chicago, some flyfishing in the Driftless area of Wisconsin, and a drive up to Minneapolis to pick up my banjo. I live in Toronto Canada, so this was quite a road trip. While in Minneapolis, I recorded an interview with Mike Chew, which is now online as Episode 8 of my 27th Street Podcast.
