Winner of the Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo. I'm an Irish Tenor Banjo player from Ireland. I've been playing banjo for over 20 years and teaching for about 15yrs. I'm about to launch an Irish Banjo Tutor Book and CD which will be the first completely comprehensive guide to the Irish Tenor Banjo. I'm all about the technique. I believe that with good technique all styles of banjo playing are available. My method of playing and learning the banjo is based on simple, logical rules that make it as easy as possible for banjo players to improve rhythm, trebling, picking etc
