Hi folks,
I'm new but I'm also an old person just starting to learn. I tried to teach myself bluegrass banjo 10-15 years ago but that didn't turn out so well.
I've decided this time to go for CH. Would it be better to start on a four or five string Bango? I'm going to get both a resonator and an open back banjo. I'm also going to invest in lessons! My girlfriend is taking guitar lesson and we are hoping to find an instructor to teach both of us in the Newberry-Trenton, Florida area to come to our home and teach us.
We are both severely disabled veterans and it would work much better if the instructor could come to us.
