My Favorite musician is Earl Scruggs. Other influences have been, Alan Munde, JD Crowe, Bill Emerson and Jim Mills. My favorite Bands past and present are, Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs, Doyle Lawson, Dailey and Vincent and the Lonesome River Band.

I started playing the banjo as a teenager. After hearing Earl Scruggs, I was hooked! I played banjo for over 20 years for the Stormy Mountain Boys, a local band in Salt Lake City. I am currently playing in a band called Southern Flavor. I am currently teaching Banjo, all levels. I also teaching beginning and intermediate Guitar.
