I've played two or three prewar mastertones over the years, hoping to own one. But my RS satisfies every inch of prewar that I desire. Great job Warren and Ron.

	mhammer says: 12/31/2015 5:09:50 AM Tom - I have to concur. Warren has constantly pushed the envelope to develop an authentic pre-war tone from a newly manufactured instrument. As I mentioned and showed in my post, my RB-75 Torrefied banjo has a complexity and richness that is going to last me a lifetime.

There have been and are some variations in tone over the years of development and use of different tone woods......but of the ones that I have played both older and newer they have all sounded outstanding.
