Peggy Wood at Stone Lake Main Street Music has a nice little music shop and they host the Stone Lake Area Musicians jam from time to time, website says time TBA.
They occasionally stock a banjo or two, but offer a number of other stringed instruments, Each time I have been in, Peggy has been most helpful and fun to talk with. My grandchildren live in the area and I stopped in to the shop yesterday en route to a graduation part;y to redeem a gift certificate, and found a decent selection of harmonicas, as well.
If I get back up here this summer, I will check out the jam.
