Own a late '60s/early '70s (according to Mark Platin) Wildwood openback with a rolled brass tonering, no bracketshoe band, no adjustable tension rod (carbon fiber rod epoxied permanently into the neck, again, according to Mark), MOP flowerpot inlay in headstock below the Wildwood name, and snowflake inlays in the neck, which is bound by a very thin white pearloid binding. Great sound! Swapped one of Lo Gordon's banjos with Travis Stewart years ago when we were both at Mars Hill Old Time Music Week. Travis said he got it in a pawn shop in North Carolina. No serial number, but Mark identified it from pictures I sent him.
