Hide heads

From richmberman on 1/3/2013 12:39:14 AM

Has anyone put a hide head on their Wildwood? Mine's had a fiberskin

for 25 years and I'm thinking of trying out a hide. Any feedback?

I've got a Minstrel with a fiberskin and a Troubadour with a Mylar head. As you'd expect, the Mylar is louder and brighter (but that may be due to the resonator).
