Greetings,

New member to the Wildwood group. Proud owner of a 98/99 Wildwood Artist resonator Banjo. Play every day.

I have noticed a slight buzz beginning that seems seasonal ( I live in Northern Arizona). Removed the truss rod cover and can not figure what size/type tool to make adjustment. It seems so thight a space for an Allen wrench. Would be greatful for any advice. Kind regards,

keith sweat says: 8/20/2026 2:20:59 PM Just saw this. I spoke to Platin himself about 15 years ago and this was one of my notes from the call. I have written down “bowing in neck - adjust two plastic things in peghead - 3 or 4 mm Allen wrench”. Did you ever solve it?
	Jed 1-4-5 says: 8/21/2026 4:37:15 PM Hi Keith. Yes I did. The tool to adjust the Truss Rod is a 4 mm Hex Key. The truss rod is very close to the end of the cavity. Went to Harbor Freight and bought a set of SAE and Metric hex keys, grabbed my hacksaw and started cutting. Through elimination i found 4 mm was the correct fit. Thanks for asking. Jed
