I have a lovely Troubador openback, bought new in 2015.
I have found that the strings seem to be much closer to the head than on any of my other banjos ( a Nechville Atlas, Goodtime Classic, and 1975 clone).
It is pretty much impossible to clawhammer without beating the head with my thumb.
Is this normal?
