I live near Lyle, Washington. Fairly new to the banjo. I have learned a few old-time frailing tunes so far. Angeline The Baker, that sort of tune.
I'm interested in finding out about events, activities, opportunities to play with others, Banjo Hangout groups, other internet possibilities in the Mid-Columbia Gorge area, and also the Portland Vancouver area.
Also, I'd like eventually to get together with a fiddle player, maybe also a guitar, and who knows what else, bass, mandolin maybe, and work up a few tunes, eventually even a set or two.
