The Ashland Coffee and Tea oldtime/Irish jam, where we play tunes from both Celtic and Appalachian origin, started in April 2012 and one year later is still going strong. It's every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 10am-1pm. It's sort of like an oldtime jam where everyone plays in unison and we play tunes by the key that they are in, except that we also include Irish jigs and reels in the repertoire. Open to all levels and ALL instruments. Wouldn't it be great to get 5-string banjo, concertina, dulcimer, ukulele, flute, bodhran and other instruments all playing together?
