Won this auction last week and received it on Thursday: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/281943751204?_mwBanner=1 Been playing it almost non stop since then and did a gig with it yesterday. It's holding up really well, has a lovely full tone, and importantly for me, nice and loud :) My previous main was a 2004 Deering Sierra and this feels like a nice step up. The Sierra is about as loud, but doesn't sound quite as 'full' in my opinion, and certainly doesn't have the same cutting quality... Anyway, just thought I'd post and introduce myself to the club, even if I'm only entering on the low end :) Happy picking!

	DrBillM says: 5/20/2016 2:02:29 PM I own a G 11 and a G 12. In my humble opinion, you have entered the game at the apex of Goldstar ownership. They just don't get much better than the 79 to 81 vintage. They are freaking loud.
	Cwiiis says: 5/23/2016 1:16:20 AM Absolutely loved this banjo since I got it - got it setup and the frets seen to (they were pretty worn, it'll need refretting at some point), put a thin Snuffy bridge and a smooth Remo head on it and it really cracks! Very pleased with what I got for this money, barely touched my more expensive Deering Sierra since...
