The GF200 sounds more prewar than my Gibson prewar. Vintage Gold Star banjos are amazing

	Ks_5-picker says: 5/11/2015 11:43:38 AM I traded off my '76 Wreath archtop in 2013 and it came back home last week. I really missed that banjo more than others I have had.It is a beautiful banjo to start with,tobacco sunburst and I understand it was built by Mr Sumi.It was orignally a tube and plate with multiply rim,but I had Mitch Meadors cut a 5 ply maple rim with one piece flange and one of his flathead tone ring mates to go with it. I didn't change the neck heel,so it could easily be put back to original state,but it sure sounds great as it is now. I'm glad it's home!
